This place is an unexpected pleasure in the tiny town of Deposit, NY. Friendly service, delicious food, and a simple, clean atmosphere, make this place an excellent choice for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Their French Onion Burger is incredible! I highly recommend this place.

Couldn’t recommend Pheasant Tail more! It was recommended by family and friends and when we went to dine in, the service was phenomenal. We ordered French onion soup and mozzarella sticks to start and then pene al vodka for entree. The food came out really quick and we even had the likes of speaking with the owner about our experience. For anyone looking to have a great meal in deposit New York, I hope you have the opportunity to stop in at pheasant Tail.

A visitor from Cape Cod, I sat at the bar on a Saturday night. Joanne, the bartender, was a consumate professional - made me feel like I was the only one there. I thoroughly enjoyed my roasted beet salad with grilled chicken. It got busy, but Joanne never missed a beat. Highly recommended!!!
